Parking
Planning ahead
Campus parking will not be restricted on Friday and Saturday for commencement events; standard permit restrictions will be suspended and all guests may park for free.
Please note that road closures will be in place around Canvas Stadium for University-wide Commencement on Saturday, May 16, and select parking lots will be closed for ADA access only, including lots 240, 412, 570, and 575.

Respect our neighbors
Off-campus parking during commencement may be restricted, and the City may ticket vehicles without a residential parking permit.
Again, campus parking will be free and open to graduates and their guests during commencement events. If you must park off campus, pay close attention to parking signage with permit or time-bound restrictions.
Transit
- CSU’s campus shuttle, Around the Horn operates 5:45 a.m.-6:45 p.m., every 10 minutes, then from 6:45-10:30 p.m., every 20 minutes, on Friday and Saturday.
- The MAX operates Monday–Saturday with service every 20 minutes 5:30-11 a.m., every 10 minutes 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and every 20 minutes 6 p.m.-midnight.

Complimentary golf carts
A small fleet of courtesy golf carts will also be present across campus throughout ceremonies to assist graduates and their guests while navigating campus.
Public transit
Anyone accessing campus during commencement is encouraged to utilize transit, including rideshare and the MAX bus line. CSU’s free campus shuttle, Around the Horn, also runs during commencement events with stops at Moby Arena and the Lory Student Center.
Rideshare
Due to traffic closures, Uber and Lyft drivers will not be able to access campus as normal. If you plan to use rideshare, plan for drop-off and pick-up south of the Behavioral Science Building, using this address for your drop-off location:
