Ram statues butting heads in front of Canvas Stadium at Colorado State University

For Local Community Members

Spring 2025 commencement weekend will include 37 recognition ceremonies and University-wide Commencement at Canvas Stadium. Ceremonies are not open to the public to allow Ram graduates to celebrate with their guests and peers.

Plan your weekend around the crowds

Spring commencement brings an influx of visitors to Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. Review the full weekend schedule to avoid high-traffic times on and around main campus.

Traffic

The local community should expect increased traffic around main campus Thursday, May 15, through Sunday, May 18, 2025. Plan ahead as much as possible to avoid congestion. Roads that directly access campus are likely to have the most traffic: Laurel Street, College Avenue, Shields Street, and Prospect Road.
