Each day of commencement weekend provides varied transit options.
Review the interactive parking map for parking, road closure and rideshare drop off locations.
The CSU community will receive direct instructions via email from University Operations prior to commencement to enable a smooth process ahead of commencement events.
Planning ahead
Campus parking will not be restricted on Friday and Saturday for commencement events, but road closures will be in place around Canvas Stadium for University-wide Commencement on Saturday, May 16.

Please note that off-campus parking during commencement may be restricted, and the City may ticket vehicles without a residential parking permit.
Again, campus parking will be free and open to graduates and their guests during commencement events. If you must park off campus, pay close attention to parking signage with permit or time-bound restrictions.
Public transit
Anyone accessing campus during commencement is encouraged to utilize transit, including rideshare and the MAX bus line. CSU’s free campus shuttle, Around the Horn, also runs every 10 minutes on Friday and every 20 minutes on Saturday with stops at Moby Arena and the Lory Student Center.
Rideshare
Due to traffic closures on Saturday, May 16, Uber and Lyft drivers will not be able to access campus as normal. If you plan to use rideshare, plan for drop-off and pick-up near Newton’s Plaza, just south of the Behavioral Science Building.
