Travel 

Colorado State University is about 65 miles and a 75-minute drive from Denver International Airport; alternatively, CSU is 48 miles from the Cheyenne, Wyoming Regional Airport, which is about a 50-minute drive.  

There are several options for transportation including renting a car, Lyft/Uber/taxi rides and public or shuttle transit options.

If you utilize a ridesharing service, plan for drop-off and pick-up near Newton’s Plaza, just south of the Behavioral Science Building. (Use the Behavioral Science Building address for your drop-off location: 410 W Pitkin St, Fort Collins, CO 80523.)

Arrival 

University-wide Commencement will take place 4:30-6 p.m. on Friday, May 16. Recognition ceremonies will be grouped by academic unit Thursday through Sunday (May 15-18). Travelers should plan to identify the timing of their student’s recognition ceremony to confirm travel plans. Commencement activities and traditions will begin Thursday, May 15, 2025.
