Recognition Ceremonies
To complement University-wide Commencement, academic units host smaller recognition ceremonies where student names are read, graduates cross the stage, and diploma covers are distributed. Recognition ceremonies will be held in various campus locations between Thursday and Sunday during commencement weekend. Find ceremonies by college and academic unit below, and note that when doors open, graduates will also convene for line-up.
Master’s students are invited to attend the recognition ceremony with their academic unit, and doctoral candidates are invited to attend the Graduate School’s Doctoral Candidate Recognition and Hooding Ceremony. View a full, searchable schedule for commencement weekend.
Please note, all Friday recognition ceremonies will involve parking restrictions as students move out and before University-wide Commencement. Review parking details and public transit options.
