For Local Community
You are Ram Country. Thank you for making our community home for Rams from around the world.
The Fort Collins and Northern Colorado communities are invited to support commencement events as volunteers.
If you’d prefer to steer clear of campus during the festivities, please congratulate our Ram Grads and their families while out in the community for meeting this major milestone!

I own/manage a local business. How can I support commencement?
- Sign up to volunteer with your team: CSU is recruiting more than 400 volunteers (18+) to help bring commencement events to life. Sign up as an individual or on behalf of your team to be a part of this milestone experience!
- Support volunteers: Can’t make it in person? You can still have an impact. CSU is seeking donations of snacks, beverages, and small thank you items to show appreciation for the hundreds of volunteers that make commencement possible. Email CSU’s commencement team to let the team know you’re interested in contributing.
- Show your Ram pride: Decorate storefronts, windows, and indoor spaces in green and gold, and welcome families and graduates by extending hours or offering specials on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16.
If you have an idea or need specific details, please reach out to the CSU Commencement Team.
