It’s official – CSU alumnus and 2026 Team USA Olympic bobsledder Hunter Powell is the University-wide Commencement speaker for May 16 ! Powell, a college decathlete-turned-Olympic bobsledder, didn’t follow a linear path to his success. He walked on to track teams at two universities before finding his athletic home at CSU, where he became the 2019 Mountain West champion in the indoor heptathlon and outdoor decathlon. And that’s just the beginning.

A few important deadlines:

• Don’t forget to RSVP for the ceremonies you plan to attend, and remember, you can update your RSVP until May 8 via RAMweb or RAMrecords.
• Mark your calendar for regalia pick-up at Grad Fest on April 16 and 17 at the Smith Alumni Center in Canvas Stadium. At Grad Fest you’ll pick up your cap and gown, explore resources for your next steps, and enjoy activities to commemorate your final weeks before turning your tassel!
  • If you missed the online regalia ordering deadline, you may purchase regalia directly during Grad Fest.
