Hi Rams!
You are receiving this email about Spring Commencement activities because you are in one of the following groups:
- Undergraduate students who have completed 80 or more credits.
- Graduate students at any point in their program.
- New alumni who finished their degree in Summer or Fall 2025.
Spring 2026 Commencement will be here before you know it! Here are the most important things for you to know:
- University-wide Commencement is 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. This ceremony brings you and your friends from every college together to celebrate this milestone on the field at Canvas Stadium.
- Recognition ceremonies are May 15-16, providing the experience of having your name called as you cross the stage to receive your diploma cover. Find the time and date of your college-hosted ceremony.
- You must RSVP via RAMweb for University-wide Commencement and your recognition ceremony.
- If you completed your degree prior to Fall 2025, you may receive an error message when trying to RSVP in RAMweb because your academic records have moved to RAMrecords, CSU’s alumni platform. You will need to create a RAMrecords ID to sign in and RSVP for Commencement ceremonies through RAMrecords.
Upcoming deadlines
Grad Pack orders are OPEN! The CSU Alumni Association’s Grad Packs include a cap, gown, tassel, and a one-year alumni association membership. The deadline to order is Friday, Feb. 27.- You will pick up your pre-ordered regalia at Grad Fest, April 16-17.
- Learn more about regalia on the Commencement website.
Master’s and doctoral students
In addition to RSVPing for ceremonies, master’s and doctoral students completing their degree requirements this spring must apply to graduate by Thursday, Feb. 12, by filling out the GS25 Application for Graduation form via RAMweb. Review the Graduate School’s instructions.
- Master’s and doctoral students completing degree requirements in Summer 2026 must submit the GS25 by Thursday, March 5, to have their name published in the Spring 2026 Graduate List.
- Review all upcoming Graduate School deadlines.
Explore the Commencement website to learn more about ceremonies and events and get your questions answered . You can also reply to this email if you have questions that are not answered in the Commencement FAQ.

Greetings, faculty and staff –
It’s the spring semester, which means Commencement events will be here before you know it! Please review the following reminders so you can participate as you are able to support your students during this exciting milestone.
Key information:
- University-wide Commencement is 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. This ceremony brings students from every college together to celebrate this milestone on the field at Canvas Stadium.
- Recognition ceremonies are May 15-16, providing the experience of individual recognition, with names called as students cross the stage to receive their diploma covers.
- Students are encouraged to join both ceremony types to have the full CSU Commencement experience. They must RSVP via RAMweb. Students who have previously completed their degree requirements can RSVP via RAMrecords.
Get involved:
- Faculty and staff are invited to participate in Commencement weekend, May 15-16.

- If you’d like to join the festivities in a less formal role, you can sign up to support Commencement Weekend. The sign-up form allows you to select the dates and times that work best for you and indicate your preferred responsibilities, helping event coordinators match volunteers with preferred roles.
- To participate in your college recognition ceremonies, please contact your Commencement Coordinator or dean’s office.
Additional Commencement details are available on the Commencement website.
Please reach out if you have additional questions or if there is anything we can do to support you.
Thank you for all you do for CSU and its students!
