Hello, seniors!
You are receiving this email because you have completed 90 or more credits toward your CSU degree, which means you are eligible to participate in Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies!
Here’s what you need to know now:
- University-wide Commencement will be held 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Canvas Stadium.
- Recognition ceremonies, held by college and academic unit, will take place May 15-16, and provide the opportunity for individual recognition of graduating students.
*Attending both event types provides you the full CSU commencement experience.*
- Regalia ordering for spring will begin Tuesday, January 20 – the first day of the spring semester – and remain open until the end of February.
Finishing your credits this fall? There are a few ways to celebrate ahead of spring events:
- The CSU Alumni Association is hosting a Graduate Celebration for December grads on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 12-4 p.m., at the Iris & Michael Smith Alumni Center. Attend to take a photo in regalia (regalia available at the event), pick up your diploma cover, and mix and mingle with fellow grads.
- You can also order your regalia this fall!
*All cap & gown orders submitted before Dec. 31, 2025, will include a 2025 tassel.*
- Save your regalia for spring ceremonies, and don’t forget to RSVP for spring commencement events via RAMweb (available tomorrow, Oct. 21).
Get all the information you need on the commencement website, and keep an eye out for future emails with timely details and reminders to keep you on track for all things commencement!
We wish you luck as you finish the fall semester!

Greetings, master’s and doctoral students,
It’s already time to start thinking about spring commencement, and we want to make sure you know your participation options.
The Graduate School is hosting a commencement ceremony on Dec. 19 for master’s and doctoral candidates. University-wide Commencement at Canvas Stadium is also hosted annually in the spring alongside a Graduate School recognition ceremony.
Fall graduates have already submitted their applications to graduate (the GS25 form) and should be preparing for the Graduate School’s Dec. 19 commencement ceremony at Moby Arena. If you are participating in the fall ceremony, you must order your regalia by Friday, Nov. 7, to ensure on-time delivery. You may also choose to participate in spring commencement ceremonies if that’s your preference.
Students finishing their degree requirements in Spring or Summer 2026 are invited to participate in spring commencement events: University-wide Commencement (10-11:30 a.m., May 16) and the Graduate School recognition ceremony (1:30-3 p.m., May 16).
*DVM candidates and College of Business master’s candidates are invited to separate ceremonies. Learn more under the college tabs on the recognition ceremonies webpage.
If you plan to participate this spring, don’t forget to RSVP for spring commencement ceremonies via RAMweb (available tomorrow, Oct. 21) and keep an eye out for future updates.

Dear faculty & staff,
It’s official! Mark your calendars for CSU’s annual University-wide Commencement taking place 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Canvas Stadium! To complement the large event, 20 recognition ceremonies grouped by college and academic unit will take place Friday and Saturday (May 15-16).
Be a part of the Tassel-Turning Energy this spring and celebrate alongside your students as they commemorate one of life’s greatest achievements!
You are invited to join commencement festivities as part of faculty processionals and/or as day-of event support. Employees interested in participating in commencement can submit this interest form to be emailed directly when details are available.
No final exams are scheduled on Friday, May 15, and commencement-specific parking passes will NOT be required. Please be aware of the potential influx of vehicles on campus for various ceremonies so you can plan accordingly. Review the recognition ceremony schedule for May 15- 16, 2026, for further detail.
Finally, if you are faculty participating in the Graduate School’s fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 19, you must contact your college commencement coordinator to order regalia by Friday, Nov. 7 or by the deadline determined by your department. If you do not know who your coordinator is, please contact your dean’s office.
