Daniel Ward, Founder and Owner of Inward Fitness
Dr. Lise Youngblade, Dean
Daniel Ward ’03, Founder/Owner of Inward Fitness
Through his business, Inward Fitness, Daniel Ward delivers personal training, corporate wellness, and sports performance services in Denver, with clients including politicians, CEOs, musicians, athletes, sports teams, and law enforcement personnel. Ward has stayed connected with CSU as a member of the College of Health and Human Sciences Executive Leadership Council, and by hosting CSU interns and mentoring minority, bi-racial, and multi-racial student-athletes. Ward is a Commissioner for the Colorado Civil Rights Division and was recognized among Denver Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40. As an undergraduate student in health and exercise science, Ward was a Distinguished First-Generation Scholar; in the first Key Academic Community; a student-athlete in track and field and football and Mountain West Conference Academic All-American. He lives in Centennial, Colorado, with his wife Bridgette and their two daughters.
Collin Berry, Student Speaker, Construction Management ’23
Collin Berry came to CSU to study civil engineering but found his calling in the dynamic activity in the field of construction management. Berry has optimized his student experience in the Department of Construction Management via a study abroad experience in Italy; serving on winning heavy civil and concrete solutions competition teams; and through leadership in department organizations including the Heavy Civil Club and CM Student Board of Directors. His experiential learning through internships ranged from a small general contractor in northern Colorado to Hensel Phelps working for the U.S. Marine Corps in Guam and finally for Goodfellow Brothers, a heavy civil contractor on the big island of Hawaii. He will return to Goodfellow Brothers as an asphalt project engineer after graduation.
