CSU Faculty, Staff & Students

Similar to game days on campus, faculty, staff, and students will participate in repark to move cars off main campus and allow for major event guest parking.

Students living in the residence halls are encouraged to complete move-out by 2 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, to facilitate a smoother move-out process and avoid congestion exiting campus as commencement guests arrive.

Faculty and staff who are not required to be on campus are encouraged to work remotely on Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16, if possible. Those who must be on main campus are encouraged to utilize public transit or rideshare.

The CSU community will receive direct instructions via email from University Operations prior to commencement to enable a smooth process ahead of commencement events.

Review day-by-day parking details in the parking FAQ.

Fort Collins & Northern Colorado Community

The local community should expect increased traffic around main campus Thursday, May 15, through Sunday, May 18, 2025. Plan ahead as much as possible to avoid congestion. Roads that directly access campus are likely to have the most traffic: Laurel Street, College Avenue, Shields Street, and Prospect Road.
