Commencement tickets delivered to student accounts

Spring Commencement - Colorado State University

Hello, Graduates!

If you RSVP’d for University-wide Commencement via the RSVP form , your requested tickets have been added to your student account. This includes six (6) guaranteed tickets plus any additional requested tickets for University-wide Commencement.

Requested parking passes for Friday, May 16, whether you’re attending University-wide Commencement or a recognition ceremony, are also available in your student account. Parking passes are required to park on campus on Friday, May 16 (parking for apartments and residence halls will remain reserved for resident permit holders only).

Please log in to your student ticket account and claim your guest tickets and/or parking pass by April 30. Remember, as a graduate, you DO NOT need a ticket – tickets are only for guests. Need help accessing your guest tickets?

Don’t forget to add Grad Fest (April 16-18) and Senior Send Off (May 15-16) to your calendar. Both are at the Iris and Michael Smith Alumni Center, near the northeast corner of Canvas Stadium. This is where you will be able to pick up your pre-ordered cap and gown, and caps and gowns will be available for purchase if you missed the preorder deadline. Plus, both events will feature a variety of celebratory, pre-commencement activities, including tie-dying, CAM the Ram visits, a photobooth and more!

Answers to common ticketing questions:

  • What if I don’t need all the tickets in my account for Commencement?
    • If you do not need all the tickets distributed to your account, please leave the tickets you don’t need in your ticket account unclaimed. On May 1, unclaimed tickets will be removed from accounts and reallocated to students who need additional tickets.
  • What if I need more than the tickets I received for University-wide Commencement?
    • Anyone wishing to request more than the tickets already distributed to their account should email [email protected] with the desired number of additional tickets.
    • In early May, unclaimed guest tickets will be reallocated to students requesting additional tickets.
  • What if I don’t see tickets in my CSURams.com account?
    • Please ensure you have previously filled out the RSVP form. If you didn’t, please fill out the form now. If there are any additional tickets, they will be allocated to your account in May.
    • There are no additional parking passes available.
    • If you think there is a mistake, please email [email protected].

Recognition ceremony tickets

  • Recognition ceremonies are smaller events grouped academically. During these events, student names are read, graduates cross the stage, and diploma covers are distributed. Please note that students are asked to be respectful regarding the number of guests they invite to recognition ceremonies to ensure other students’ supporters are able to attend. Most recognition ceremonies are not ticketed and are first-come, first-served seating, with overflow space and a livestream option.
  • Some recognition ceremonies will be ticketed, including 1) Political Science; 2) History, International Studies, and Languages, Literatures, and Cultures; 3) Economics; and 4) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. If you are part of one of these recognition ceremonies, you will receive an email with additional information on how to obtain your guest tickets.

Please visit the CSU commencement website for full details related to commencement celebrations this spring. We’ll see you at Grad Fest next week!

Thank you and congratulations!
