The Class of 2009

Senior Class Gift

Updated May 1, 2009

It is a long-standing tradition at Colorado State University for the graduating class to donate a gift to beautify the campus, to commemorate graduating classes, and to serve as a tangible tribute to the University. In past years, organized efforts have resulted in the dedication of benches and bricks. Perhaps the most well-known senior gifts are individual trees planted in the Alumni Grove located near the Lagoon on the west side of of the Main Campus. Each tree was planted as a living symbol of the legacies left by graduating classes and serves as a testament to the fond memories shared by students of the graduating classes.

The Class of 2009’s senior gift is a large clock that will be placed on the Lory Student Center Plaza. This gift will stand as a testament to the achievements of this year’s graduates and to the pride they feel toward Colorado State University as they embark on their careers and lives off campus.
